(402) Exchange System error 1

When I performed the Exchange bricklevel backup rcserve prompt the captioned error for particular mailbox (not all of them).

How can I solve this problem??

I have the same problem since we migrating from NT 4.0 Server to Windows 2000 Server. Let me know if you find a solution, vice-versa.

THis could be a problem with the mailbox....

was the mailbox hidden aftet the job was configured...
if not....
export the mailbox to a PST, recreate the mailbox, initialize and import the PST...

Note: Run SCANPST on the pst file after you export it...

I uninstalled the backup agent for exchange and reinstalled it by logging on as the service account. This solved the (402)Exchange system error and I was able to backup the mailboxes.
