Hi All

System
MOSS 2007
ISA 2006

When using the Picker Function (this is being used for a CRM BDC to search for a client name) externally we get a 401 unauthorized message. Upon monitoring the connection it seems ISA server never actually pushes the request to the MOSS server.

The request looks like this:

The following is logged in ISA:

Denied Connection ISASERVER 13/06/2008 4:16:11 PM
Log type: Web Proxy (Reverse)
Status: 12239 The server requires authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web server is denied. Contact the server administrator.
Rule:
Source: (123.xxx.xxx.xxx)
Destination: (10.xxx.xxx.xxx:443)
Request: GET Filter information: Req ID: 0e4be3fc; Compression: client=Yes, server=No, compress rate=0% decompress rate=0% ; FBA cookie: exists=no, valid=no, updated=no, logged off=no, client type=unknown, user activity=yes

This log doesn't register against the publishing rule for the site and ISA never passes the traffic back to MOSS indicating something in ISA is wrong not MOSS. The rule was created using the "Publish SharePoint Sites" so all the double encoding and normalization funtions are off. AAM is all setup correctly. The entire environment is using kerberos and there seems to be no problem with authentication on the site besides the Picker function.

Has anyone experienced this kind of problem with the MOSS+ISA combination before or no how to resolve it?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Cheers
