I need some help with wiring a tie trunk. Has anybody done one before. I don't have any idea on how to start. Our telco supplier terminated the 4 wire tie line as follows: whiteblue-blue-skip-whitegreen-green-skip-whiteorange-orange. How would I connect this to the card. I just need to know what pairs to connect to the telco side. I am using a t568a type rj45 modular jack to connect to the tie card. Any help would be appriecated.

Also known as an RJ-1CX, see if this helps:

Analog E&M (for analog E&M back-to-back connection):

RJ-45, 2-wire audio
1 ----- 8
2 ----- 7
4 ----- 5
5 ----- 4
7 ----- 2
8 ----- 1

RJ-45, 4-wire audio
1 ----- 8
2 ----- 7
3 ----- 5
4 ----- 6
5 ----- 3
6 ----- 4
7 ----- 2
8 ------ 1

I believe the 400EM Tie trunk card uses the RJ2GX USOC standard:
W/BL- T
BL/W- R
W/OR- T1
OR/W- R1
W/GR- E
GR/W- M
.
.
.
.
Note that your transmit must connect to the telco's recieve and your E lead connects to the telco's M lead, etc.
