Hi, I have got premiere 6.5 and WinXP and I have a 4 GB limit on it. My problem is, is that I have to make a movie of 17 GB and deliver it to a company, so I can't do it another way.
So does someone knows something (plugin, or program)that I will get rid of these limitations ?
I Heard something, like trowing away "video for windows".
Maybe somebody knows in steps how to do something like this .?
Thanks

How are you going to deliver it to them? DVD?

Make chapters/ segmented files.

Thanks for your reply's,

Well I have a external harddrive, and that is what there getting from me.
But now I'm to late for converting my system to NTFS, because I started a mond ago,and I have 500 Gig of video, so it's alot. So there's a big risc that some of the files will be damaged after converting it.
Ad Adobe.com, well there not really getting beyond the limitations there really going around it.
But still no writing to harddisc with, FAT-32 and XP.(4 gig)
So I don't know if I can do something about it.

But this all started with the problem that I posted before, that I can't export it to DVcam. Because of the transistions and all.

( Maybe i'll just have to trow them 30 short avi files, and let them, put it back together. )

I solved this by building multiple under-the-size-limit files and then doing a print-to-video.

If you're making a DVD, you can probably fiddle with your encoder settings until the file is 4G or smaller.

Good luck!
