4.0.15 hosting

Good afternoon all,

First post so be nice lol

i've got a user that needs 4.0.15 user CD (As thier softconsole is not showing the correct results, ie they type Tom and it shows Billy....)

I just want them to reinstall it before i start getting knee deep in this...

i've got them to install that version, how ever the problem has happened again. I was going to try the proper version for the system, however it looks like i may have to bite the bullet and raise this to Avaya...

are you manually entering peoples name or are you selecting them from a list? i had a problem once when i was manually adding users. try adding them by selecting them from a list.

Also check that usernam & fuull user name are correct on the IPO
user name is what is used but Full Name is what will be displayed

they are typeing the name in to the search box, i've just had a quick look at the config and all the Full Names are entered correctly, no spaces at the end...

When they type in the name do they wait long enough or type the complete name ?

I have a site that had too many SC issues with the search box. No matter what we typed, it defaulted to showing the last group that was accessed!!!

I put 4.1 SC on and it all went away. System is still at 4.0 but is solved the problems!!!!!!

hmmmm.....
Yer i've just used my version 4.1.4 and had no problems with it..

I'll direct them to install that and see if that helps.
