Greetings all, we are in the process of migrating our exchange 5.5 server to exchange 2003. I am looking at the GFI mailEssentials and MailSecurity products for security and content filtering. Does anyone else have experience with these two products? I was planning on installing MailEssentials VS API directly on the exchange server AND installing the gateway version on another server infront of the firewall but I dont think the standalone gateway relay would really be nessesary. We are a small company with 50 mailboxes and average about 500 emails in and out a day and I think installing the VS API directly on the exchange with the MailSecurity software on the server would be good enough. Any other opinions on this? Thanks

Im using Sybari AntiGen, which utilizes many vendors AV, and uses the Exchange 2003 VS API as well.

You may want to check that out.
They have a beta program to, you might want to try it on your server(s).

Thanks

Thanks for the tips guys i will look into both of those, trying to avoid the open relay and spam issue we have now with exchange 5.5
