3d work in flash

I want to create a spinning globe in flash (similar to the one on the main screen of soldier of fortune) if it is not possible in flash could someone tell me which program it is possible in.

i have done a spinning 3D logo once, i export the logo to the 3d studio max 3 and rendered it frame by frame and import those frame to flash making a frame by frame movie clip, but the movie went up to 8 mb !!, and i simply deleted it...<br><br>i heard vecta 3d is useful, but havn't seen it in action yet,<br><br>

Is it possible to generate animated images without the client side requiring the flash player. (ie as in gif animation)? If so how. If not what about the Freehand 9 product?

yah when u render it u have to save it as a animated gif thats all
