I have DECT at this location, but I cant use another base station as it is in a different location that the rest of the DECT system. Is there a way to get a base station to work on its own away from the other antenna's? The rest are in air synch with each other, and work fine.

My question other than can you do the dect thing is, where do I get 3910's at? I know they dont sell them anymore, but what replaced them? I mean is there another digital solution that I can just plug into a digital port, or am I stuck with something like a wireless analogue phone at those locations?

Thanks Again Tek-Tips!

I know the 3920 is its replacement per say, but they are only for Partner Systems, has anyone used them in Advanced mode?

Seriously!!! Why did they do away with the 3810 and the 3910 cordless phone? They finally had a good inexpensive cordless phone that worked pretty good....

What did they replace them with???

You can use an analog dect phone and base station.
Or go for IPDect, but it will cost some money

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

When you say analogue dect phone and base station, are you talking about something from Target? WE have IP dect, and it works great, but we have 1 location out of range with the rest, and I cant figure out how to set it up independently, and since I dont have the 3910 options, what can I do? have you ever been able to do this?

Then add an IPDect basestation and configure it as a standalone basestation (no sync to master)
Do you have IPDect R3 or R4?

We have R4, but there isnt any good instructions on how to make it a standalone, I tried quite a few things. I must be missing something.

On the basestation go to "Dect" and then Master.
Set it to slave.

Then go to airsync and set it to master.

Normally a slave basestation has the airsync set to slave.
When it is set to master then it is running on it's own.
