Hi,

How can you, if at all, change or unlock a password protected directory on a 3904 phone?

Someone has set up a password they dont remember...Can it be done from the PBX admin or the phone itself?

Or do i have to blow out the phone and rebuild it? and he loses his directory...

Thanks

LD 32

The command is CPWD followed by the TN of the phoneset

CPWD l s c u ------> on the large system

CPWD c u ----------> on small system.

cool, so on a 61c:
go into LD 32
CPWD XX XX XX XX

and an 11C:
LD 32
CPWD XX XX

Great I'll try it, thanks

Strange, this worked in the past on my Option 11 but it didn't seem to work this time.

I tried it on our 81 and it worked first time.

So I tried it in ld 20 on the 11 and it worked?

Strange.....

Ok it didn't actually do anything in ld 20.

This is what comes up in Ld 32:

Lol, found out why it was still asking for a password.

The phone has Release 47 on it.

Found the default password to be 12345678.

Now uploading to 87.
