Not Etherchannel per-se... That's Cisco proprietary. You can do 802.3ad (aka LACP). When you build your channel-group on the cisco switch you choose "active" mode. For example:
int range gi1/0/1 - 2
channel-group 1 mode active
Since this is a switch to switch link, you will want to enable trunking also...
int range gi1/0/1 - 2, po1
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport mode trunk
