3750 to 3550

Hi all

I am not a Cisco person but am trying to get information to a customer regarding implementing a 3750 into a 3550 environment. The stack connections are not supported between the models, so how/could you connect the 3750 GB port up to the 3550 optional GB GBIC to merge into existing 3550stack configuration???

I may be not making sense...so sorry...but this must be covered somewhere in detail????

try using a fiber gbic running dot1q protocol. Should be VERY easy.
