Hello,
I am in the process of setting up multilink T1's and am using the vwic-2mft-T1 card. I have upgraded the ios to a version that should support the card but still cant access it to configure. Any ideas. I thought with the recommended ios that ram shouldnt be an issue and I think this box comes with 128 mb stock anyway.
thanks

Did you do the "controller t1 x/x/x" command to setup the channels, "channel-group 1 timeslots 1-24" would be the command to use, then the "interface serial x/x/x:1" command

Buckweet, thanks a million that was it!!! This is my first time working with this type of card. Now from here I dont touch the controller config part and just use the serial interfaces that it set up ie: serial0/0:1 and serial0/0:2
Thanks again for the help

Just a quick note I looked up the channel-group cmd and it looks like with the cmd
channel-group 1 timeslots 1-24
your saying the channel group 1 uses slots 1-24 (full T1) is this correct?
I believe it is but on the website they say the 1-24 are timeslots (I'm assuming that is the same as channels)
Thanks
jdl

T1 is a time-divion-multiplexing medium. so, in T1 terms this means time slots are channels. so it probably holds true in cisco, too.
