I set up the WIFI handsets to get an IP-address from the 10.20.121.XXX range.
In the IP-NETWORK-MAP I map this range to Network Region 8.

In IP-NETWORK-REGION 8 I specify the udp portrange to use (2048-3096).

So far, so good, but sometimes the wifi set will use a port outside the defined range
and then I do get signalling, but no voice.

Very annoying - I don't know where is gets this from.

Any of you out there know what to do about this ?

Kind regards,

I don't know much about wireless, but there might be a HAT tool that you use with a USB cradle to program the phones that might have a port range, or possibly the 46xxsettings file where you might be able to define that as well.

You didn't mention if the sets were SIP or H.323 - and that might also be relevant

Hi Kyle555,

the 3641's are H323 - unfortunately there's no port setting in the HAT.
I'll doublecheck the 46XXsettings.

I'm still working on this, but I've swapped the 3641 handset with an Ascom i62 (which is SIP) to see if this makes any difference...
