3560G/Vlan/4507/not working

OK. I've got a 3560G that I have set up with a vlan. It will be connected to a Catalyst 4507 via fiber. I have both switches configured and am in the testing mode now, but when I plug a computer into the 3560G, I do not get a good network connection. I have set up a vlan on the 3560. I will post my configs below and would appreciate any help anyone can give me!

What do you mean you don't get a good network connection. Do you mean internet access? Where is the gateway router at? Is the 4507's ports in the same vlan? If so, I don't see anything in your config for a trunk. You'll need that in order for the vlans to cross over machines.
 
There is no network connectivity at all. No internet. I pull a bad ip address from dhcp. So, anyways. I addedd the following and still no luck....

A showing of interfaces tells me that vlan1 is up, protocol is down. vlan200 is up, protocol is up.

not sure what you are doing on the 3560 and why you have an address on Vlan 1 . Where are you doing the routing ? Is the 4507 doing the routing and the 3560 just being used as a layer 2 access switch ? If so then if you plan on using vlan 1 as your management vlan then you will have to trunk the connection to the 3560 and 4507 . If the 4507 is doing the routing you do not even need a layer SVI for vlan 200 . I also see no default route statement for . Maybe you can elaborate more on your setup . On your connecting links set it up as follows. This will trunk your link. Your ip helper address needs to be on the 4506 side under the vlan 200 interface otherwise you won't pull an address.

Thanks for everyones comments. I did get it to work with the vlan200, but now things have changed and we are just going to use it on the flat network now until we can get a good design for the whole network. So now I have more questions. I have removed all instances of vlan200 on the 3560g and the 4507. As you can tell, I am a new network admin, still going through my ccna classes. I need help in configuring my gigabit 6/1 interface so that it will connect to the flat network. Can anyone help out here???
