3550 ios? 1

Is there _any_ way to get my hands on a newer ios for this switch other than buying a support contract? I want to upgrade from my 12.1(11)EA1 to at least 12.1(13)EA1 to patch against the DoS problem. I got this switch as a gift and i can't affoard to buy a support contract.
I would greatly appriciate it if someone could download c3550-i5k2l2q3-tar.121-19.EA1.tar, or any other ios newer than what i have for me (i'm reaching at straws here, please help me out ).

If you have a CCO account, you can download the software w/o the support agreement.

No i can't, this is part of the reply i got from cisco:

"In order to download software from the website, you would have to purchase a contract. If this is a new device, purchased through Cisco....you have a 90day warrenty and can contact Contracted Sales at: 800*553*6387."

My question to them was how i could download the supposedly free ios updates. As i said in my first post, if anyone could download it for me i would be very greatful.

Yes you can. You don't have a CCO account, so you don't know what I'm talking about.

I do have a CCO account, at least as far as i know.
According to information on cisco.com, a CCO account is the same thing as registering on the site, which i have done several years ago. If i log in using my account i still can't download any of the 3550 ios'.
This is what i do:
1. Press technical support then software center
2. Press the login link on the right side of the page.
3. Go to LAN switching software
4. Select 3550

On this page there are only two downloads, a JRE and a readme file.
