3300 ARS

The only chart/table I have every seen on ARS was on my SX2K course a number of years ago. In a previous thread you mentioned that you took the 3300 course a few months ago. Did you get any charts for ARS then? I am assuimg that you are having trouble with what goes in which form.
In the online docs in the 3300, if you look under the programming heading you will find ARS. It lists in there the order that you need to program in. In there you will also find a link to Advanced ARS. There is a programming example in there but it may not be what you want.
The short version of order is
trunks
trunk groups
digit mod
routes
lists if required
digits dialled assignment
leading digit

Hi everyone
To introduce myself briefly, I look after a 3300 and learn as I go. This seems to be the first open forum dedicated to Mitel Networks I come across, and I hope I can pinch some brains here
I will get a copy of my ARS screens tomorrow if it helps as an example, and post it either here or to IPOMonkey's e-mail whichever is suitable.
Digits dialled assignment is your dialplan and is a nightmare if you have many trunks and many carriers to chose from. Must admit, nice interface, though.
I wonder if there is anything in 3300 ARS that can calculate least cost routing?

I never thought of Day and Time Assignment in respect of switching a route. Although most of carriers offer flat rate these days...
I am trying to implement a trunk to a cellular network with all sorts of tariffs for inbound and outbound calls terminated on a private PBX, the cost that cannot be preferred at a glance, but only looked up in a database and compared with 3 other 'fixed-line' or VoBroadband providers. .
