Hello.
I have a AMD K6-2 450Mhz on a Matsonic MS6380SG Mainboard using a SIS530 100Mhz Chipset. The motherboard manual states that I can upgrade the 3 ram slots to 256MB each. I currently have in each DIMM the following: 0=128MB, 1=128MB, 2=32MB for a total of 288MB. I am interesting in ordering some generic PC100 SDRAM for my computer. The website that is selling it states that is is a "new standard" of 32x4 and to verify that it is compatible. They also state that it is compatible with the SIS630 chipset (I have a SIS530). I have 2 questions.
1. Will this configuration work with my mainboard?
2. If so, will the new 32x4 ram work with my older 128mb ram (I am unclear of the configuration)?
Thanks!
Ron
