Forumites,

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is how I set up a 302c Attendant Console. I cross connected from the white/blue, blue (pins 4,5) pins of the 110-block to a single port on a 2181 (16 port) digital card. I then used an 8-conductor RJ-45 telephone cord from the console to the jack at the location. I added the attendant in the switch, it still doesn't work. What the h-e-double hockey sticks could be wrong with what I did?

You need -48 volt and ground to the console on the W/Br Br/W cord pair (pins 7 & 8). This can come from a transformer plugged in at the console location (along with a 400B adapter), or from the -48V and ground accessory connections on the Aux cable from your Definity.

One thing to be sure of is that you do not try to connect more than one console to the aux power supply, the system usually does not have enough current to handle both.
