30 minute recording

Hi All,

I have a customer that has a IPO 406 4.2 with VMPRO that would like to set up an auto attendant that directs the caller to a information message that is 30 min long. Does anyone know what the time limit is on recording a greeting? or if there is a 3rd party voice announce device that can handle this?

30 min announcement & they expect he call to stay on the line & listen to it?

I don't see any reason why VM Pro cant play a greeting of that size but personally to make it easier for he person making the recording I would break it into a number of shorter segments & chain them together.


A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.

It would be pretty brutal to record in one session. By the end their throat would be drier than a dead dingo's donger.

I would think after 30 minutes I would of forgot what I called for

its an automated message for share holders they need to change every quarter. I couldnt imagine sitting there while someone records it.

Do it in TTS, that should make people listen to it and call in several times just for laughs =)
