How do you setup a 3 way call? we are going to have a conference call and need to get multiple people in on the call

For a Dterm Series i:
With one call in progress, ask the party to hold.
Press Transfer, receive interruped dial tone.
Dial desired number.
After call is answered, press Conf. Conf.
Three way is established.

If you have an IPS with 3200 series or high and have it allowed in programming (CM 6541)you can go off hook and make the first call. Place it on hold and then access the second line on your phone and contact the next party. Once they answer you can press Conf followed by the original call on hold and you will have a 3 way conference in progress.
The beauty of doing it this way is you can press the hold key placing both parties on hold. Select the one you wish to drop and then hang up on them before returning to the party you wish to keep. This helps avoid the annoying busy tone you sometimes hear when one of the parties disconnects and it also allows you to force annoying parties out of the conference.
