no the problem is that NIU sends "/ USR1" as directory as reply to the LIST command. CuteFTP doesn't know how to handle that. only tools I know that work with the NIU are SmartFTP, wsftpPro and MDDiskTool (don't kown about windows). We use SmartFTP as preferred tool. To make SmartFTP work you must change some settings. click on the menu "tools" and then "Settings". now click on "Transfer" and make sure NO checkbox is checked, because the NIU doesn't recognize the extended FTP commands (like -a, -L,...). If you did this you'll be able to see the directories...
