Is it possible to have 3 digit feature access codes and 4 digit extensions with the same first digit?

For example, can I have 102 as a FAC and have the extension 1021 exist in my phone system?

If so, what do I have to do to make it work and how does the system make the distinction?

I am pretty sure that the only way you can use the same number is by having a '#' or a '*' as the forst character in the FAC. You will not be able to have the same beginning number for an extension that is the first character of an FAC.

No you can not have the FAC have duplicate entries like listed above. You can create a misc entry for you FAC in the dial plan and the assign a second digit code. Use different digit lengths. But each entry IE: 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19 MUST be unique.

Thanks

Chris
