Hi, We have a windows 2003 active directory domain, and we have an Exchange 2003 server running. We're thinking of setting up another exchange server in another location.

the two locations are connected through a Cisco vpn tunnel, so the second location also has users logging onto the same domain. the second exchange server will be located on that location.

what steps would i need to take?

would the users have the same email address? or would they have another name added onto their emails?

example: user@company.com (main office)
user2@location1.company.com (remote location)
would i have to do this?
thanks.

Just add the new exchange server to your domain and connect them with the proper connector (Routing Group or SMTP) Be sure to make the new exchange server a global server also.

that's it? is there like a wizard that will guide me through an additional exchange server?
is that why i don't find much information on the web?
thanks
