Have a 2K Terminal Server, with 25 Client License pack. Question is, I have 50 additional end users that are running NT 4.0 Workstation....they are currently running temp licences, but have also purchased Windows 2000 Server Client Access Licenses (CALs) for each machine.

Is this installed server side, or on each indivudal workstation?

So....I need to have the 50 Workstations install the CAL, and I am covered by my current 25 client licenses already installed on the server?

(only have 10-15 users accessing server at a time)

As I understand it, as long as you are running XP Pro, or 2K Pro as a client, that is considered your client side license for access to a 2K Terminal Server.

If you are running any other version of windows, (98,ME,4.0) you will also need to install a CAL for the Client workstation as well.

Is this CAL installed on each Client, or on the server itself?

My copy of 2K Server came with a 25 client license pack.....this would be for non-XP/2K Pro workstations, correct? So the 50 additional licenses would just add to the 25 I already have installed....?
