Hi all,
Recently I have conducted a lab activity on Windows 2K server installation. The activity was conducted in 2 groups, 1 formatted their HDD using FAT another using NTFS.
Problem happen after the first reboot after the file copying process, where all the NTFS installations have a file read type error (cannot remember the exact error message) and their PCs can't even be rebooted using Alt+Ctrl+Del. All FAT installation ran fine.
The only way to get the NTFS installation to work was to remove the Windows CD at the reboot, wait for the GUI to prompt you for the CD. Re-insert the CD and continue the installation.
Being an OEM I have never seen a problem like this before, I hope that some of you guys can help =)
BTW the CD was Windows 2K Advanced Server + SP2 (Select License)
Many thanks in advance.
