2k acting up

For some reason windows will freak out on my ass.. like all the sudden I can't right click on any of my windows. When I double click a program to open it then nothing. I press the start button and I only see the top part of the menu. I don't see programs, settings, help etc. If I press ctrl alt delete and go to "task mang" I get nothing. Then it fixes its self.. any one know what's going on? Also wtf is shellex.exe? The reason I ask is because it's taking up almost all of my cpu.

Every time I have seen "shellex.exe", it has been a trojan.
Check out this for more info...oddly enough, many people report that their anti-virus progs don't always catch it, so you might end up taking it out manually.
