I have a remote "industrial" area and thought I would be smart and buy a 2955C. It has two 100Base-FX ports. One of witch I was going to hook up to my 3550 GBIC. Question is, I can't find any kind of media converter/transceiver to go from GBIC to 100Base-FX MM?

Anyone mess with these yet?

TIA

Just want to confirm something. Are you going to make a 100BaseFX-100BaseFX connection? Or a 1000BaseSX-100BaseFX connection?

Just curious, is it really much more expensive to use 1000BaseSX than to use 100BaseFX?

I really don't have a preference which one I use, I just can't find anyway to get from one to another without going copper.

Thanks
