hey guys!

I'm used to Alcatel switches so this is new to me. How can I rack all 4 of my 2950 Catalyst switches together. There are no stacking module ports on the back. I know on certain Alcatel switches u use as many stacking module cables running down from left to right and all will be connected.

Cisco 2950 is new to me, how can this be done.

The easiest way is to jump the switches together with 100 Full duplex cabling. A more elegant solution is to enable etherchannel between the switches.

It really depends on what the aggregate traffic between the switches will be. This means figure out what the sum total of traffic from the ports NOT connected between the switches will be. If it's pushing 50Mbps between switches, seriously consider Etherchannel. 100 Full can do it but Etherchannel offers some nice features.. like failover if one of the links go down for the channel since it takes at least two of them for a etherchannel. Etherchannel will also take care of the spanning tree issues that normally will arise from connecting multiple links between switches.
