2948 L3 - switching boot image - HELP!!!

Hi,

I have 2948 layer 3 switch which i am using as a router. I have 2 IOS images on the bootflash. I am trying to switch to the new image, does anyone know what is command to do it? I tried BOOT SYSTEM FLASH NEW IMAGE, but it didn't work. I even tried resetting the config register to 0x010F from 0x2102, but it still is booting from the old version. Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure the image file has the .bin extension. Cisco has lots of documentation on upgrading software. See
