I'm starting inventory of my spares, and have noticed quite a few different part numbers on my 2616's (All I have are 2616's and 2008's. All of these are displays, in the same color.

Now, I've figured out the NTZK vs. NT2K vs. NT9K, but cannot figure out what the 2 letter codes at the end mean, for example:

NT2K16XE-03

Now, I know these phones can come with and without displays, as well as support data, but is there possibliy a resource I've overlooked listing the possible combinations?

I have a fairly recent documentation CD I've searched and come up with nothing, as well as checked here, and on Nortels support site, so I thought I would ask the question, as I'm sure someone would have run into these.

I must have at least a dozen or two different codes/numbers.

Thanks!

Thank's John, so I'm guessing that for example, AA would be the oldest version, while zz would be the newest?

yes, for a very clean inv, go to 117 inv generate sets and later, inv prt sets.. takes a few hours for a big switch, but you don't need to be logged in for it to run. i have a inv generates midnight running everyday.. then i use excel to do a cocmpare between the as built and the idu (actual) on the list for idu (right col) do a search and replace for a and then for m, replace with nothing... if the two types are in col a and c in a vacant col. =sum(a1-c1).. then copy that to the bottom so the last entry is =sum(a4701-c4701).. when you do a sort by the new col, all your mismatches will be at the top or bottom.. and you can see any phones unplugged

Thank's again John. It would be great if a master list was put out with specifics to the revisions. I just did an exchange, and cannot figure out why I got what I did.
