I have several old Cisco 2600 routers sitting unused in my lab. I also have a need for some sort of term server to manage multiple devices over one phone line at my Branch office locations. Is it feasible to take the 2600 and put an Asynch card in it to create this?

You can, but look into a product called Baytech. It's cheap and does exactly what you are looking for.
