2503 - 2503 to cable modem please help!!!

I'm a newbie to router configuration: I have (2) cisco 2503's with an ethernet transceiver for both AUI ports. I would like to connect one of the routers to a cable modem and be able to access the internet via the second router.
Current ios:
Cisco Internetwork Operating System Software
IOS (tm) 2500 Software (C2500-INS-L), Version 12.0(22), RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

I have tried the configs from previous post regarding cable modems however, I'm getting errors when enter some of the commands such as "ip address dhcp" and "ip keberos"
PLEASE HELP!!! anyone

You need current IOS loads for the router.. or just configure the IP that you currently are assigned with the understanding that you will need to change it every so often.

12.1(T) I *think* is the first version that support DHCP on the 2500s.. I may wrong tho.. you can always look it up on CIsco's site.
