I have Rev.B19 software. Recently I installed it on my laptop,whenever I do init at the c:2400ics prompt I get an ERROR EF AT IP F53EH.How can I correct this?Thanks.

2400 ics bus command troubles...

What OS are you using? The B19 commands are for DOS only! My experience has been to use a dual boot with win 98 and Win whatever. load the b19 commands on c: with win 98. YOU MUST USE COM 1. If your laptop is a newer machine without a com 1 serial port have fun as it's not gonna fly.
Now back to the commands. After you copied the files to your pc did you:
rename sys@spf to nec and,
rename sys@ spf.hd to sys@spf
then did you type in editm at the directory prompt for you commands and enter?
did you copy ansi.sys file in dos to your b19 directory? Let me know.
Without doing all the above those commands are not gonna work.
