Hi everyone...

I'm replacing our old M-series phone with a T7316e and two 24-button KIM units.

I ran across this problem where the phone boots correctly, but the KIM units won't initialize/boot. No activity whatsoever (usually the indicators flash.) I've set the programming on the main phone (programming buttons, etc.) but neither KIM wants to start individually or as a set.

The installation card says nothing about troubleshooting any sort of problem like this.

Is there something in the phone set's programming I need to change to enable the use of these two devices?

I believe that you have to be running at least release 6 to
use the KIM modules.

Augh! That figures. It's running 6.0.

I guess I'll call our Telecom provider tomorrow. They have worked on our system, they should've known it wouldn't work!
