24/7 connection of 2 sites over the Internet

Sorry for this, I'm a beginner.

What would be the cheapest way to connect two sites of some distance that takes into account:
1. Security of the Internet.
2. 24/7 connection.
3. Integrity of data.

Any helpers? Sorry for such a vague question!

How many users or bandwidth you needs.
What is the distance between two sites?
what type of equipment would meet the requirement?

You should take the costlease of a T1 line plus the equipment, implementation and Monthly Reocurring Cost (MRC), and compare to the cost on p2p vpn such as isp with SLA, MRC, and equipment and implementation, you may know which way is cheapest.

I've done this with Draytek routers and ADSL lines - and in practice we're getting the five 9's - 99.999% availability.

The only outage in the last 12 months was BT's fault.
