2317's and Succession 3.0

Does anyone have any 2317's in use with Succession 3.0?
If so, do most of the basic features work? Conf, Trns, Handsfree....I know the bulletin strongly recommends replacing them with 3900 sets.
We still use them and I am trying to replace them but I need to justify to mangement why those phones need to go.

Have one site we upgraded to 3.0 with 2317 sets - users did not notice the difference

Although they may work, they are not officially supported.
