2300 will n ot boot to A:

OK I have a Poweredge 2300 that will not boot to a bootable floopy. However when you go under the A drive in my computer it shows the contents of the disk. Whats the deal I need to boot to a floopy so I can update my backpane and stuff.

Hi,
At bootup press F2 and enter setups - there should be an option there to check the boot sequence, make sure that the floppy is in the sequence and is before the hard drive. This should fix your problem
