2250 display

I have 6 2250 consoles and on one of them a "T" is showing on the display right in front of the date. It seems to be working fine but the operator is concerned (of course). Anyone ever hear of this?

saw that once (maybe) their might be a slide switch on the console that clears that, been forever, but might be an old transfer to backup type arrangement.. check that but don't bet on it..
