2250 Console Serial Interface

We are running an option 11c switch using a 2250 console. We are trying to write a program in visual basic that will integrate commands with the serial interface of the console.

Does anyone know where I could find the codes or commands for this?

theres one out there, we use it to interface with patient/room data.. i'll get the name of that software and post it, maybe there site can help... have you tried a data sniffer? the data stream to a blf might be the best place to start.. it's do-able, and sounds like a fun project

applications to link to the patient data and can emulate a 2250 or an ACD TN? Just a guess. I used them during my 3 year hospital stay and was very impressed with the company.

When this post was made, I spent a while searching Nortel.com with key words "2250 tapi desktop develeper" and a variety of others with no luck.

I will make a request... I have some interest of my own.

Well, I did hear back that there was some cost to obtain the TAPI code that my preferred vendor/developer uses.

That means I ain't got what you need.
