2250 console puts itself into Night Service ?

On the main 2250 Ops console which is manned 24/7,
it sometimes goes into Night Service, any suggestions as to what to check to try and stop the problem ?

Does it go into Night or show as Busy. The reason I ask is because we had one that had a bad Headset jack and if the operator moved it would loose it's connection and go into Busy or Out of Service mode.

any connection can cause that.. do you just have one console? that makes it even worse.. i would replace the hand/headset.. if that does not stop it you may need a new 2250

there are several swbds, but this is used as the main, it is used with standard handset.

mabery, if you decide you need a new console, let me know. i have one that was recently deinstalled that you could try if you wanted. i was just going to drop it in with some other equipment that we are selling off, but i'd be happy to send it your way instead.

thanks for the offer, but currently there are 3 other consoles on this site, so I do not need it at present time.
