We have a number of 2210 wireless handsets in operation here, need to replace some (accidents with storm drains, etc.) and purchase some additional units.

Does anyone know how the 6620 units stack up against the 2210 units?
In particular, is the 6620 any more durable than the 2210?
Are there any differences in programming and provisioning the 6620 units?

Thanks

Oops, make that 6120, not 6620....
'been a long week here in Hawaii. A hurricane on the way in, then an earthquake, hurricane on the way by (non-event), a tsunami waytch/warning (another non-event) and another earthquake this morning... [sigh]
the price of living in paradise I guess.

Thanks

According to Product Bulletin, both WLAN Handset 6120 and WLAN Handset 6140 are spec'd to MIL-STD-810F Proc IV 516.5 - handsets are dropped using a text fixture on each face, edge and corner, for a total of 26 drops, from height of 122 cm (4 ft) onto concrete. They also meet IP 53 - resistant to dust and water damage all surfaces to protect components from moisture.

The latter may be good the next time one of those hurricane's come by!!
