Check your wireless access points, I had the same issue a week or so ago. I rebooted the wlan switch and it worked just fine. I would also see if the end users are able to use the wireless for data connectivity.
Verify the firmware issue is the same as the sets that are working. I have also ran into some bad firmware versions out there. Did you use a config cradel to config? If not i would suggest using one, this eliminates any fat finger entries.
