Hi all,
Having a DNS Problem. My domain is called say fred.com. I have 3 servers running active directory and 2 of the 3 running DNS. Fred1, Fred2 and Fred3.fred.com
If I ping from a workstation fred.com I might get a reply from any of the 3 servers. When I look in DNS I have a record for (same as parent) with the ip address of the respective server and the sole name of Fred.com. If I remove the 2 entries that are not running IIS then all id fine for 1/2 hour until DNS rebuilds the records. Let's say fred1 is running iis and has my Public Web site and Intranet site running on it. I have an A Record for intranet.fred.com and the ip of the machine running iis but that doen't mean it's gonna work. Any idea's here?
Thanks
Mark Spencer
