Alright, here's the scenario, I just ghosted a Win2k server to new hardware. This is primarily an ftp server w/ hundreds of user accounts. The good news is, the ghost worked and all user accounts and passwords are intact on the new server. Here's where the problem comes in. I didn't include the D drive on the image (this is where the ftproot is with all of the actual data). Ok, so I made a Windows .bkf file of the ftp root on the old server and transferred it to the new server thinking that all of the security and permissions would still be in place, but they're not. I would hate to go through and reset the permissions on thousands of folders, so I'm kinda desperate here. Any ideas? TIA!
