i am having this intermittent problem with windows 2000 server and a dlink dsl-300 ethernet modem. I am using routing and remote access to share the connection and the problem i am having is the modem is dissapearing from the server and even after rebooting, uninstalling the pppoe protocol and reinstalling it and then trying to rediscover the modem using raspppoe it says there are no ppp ethernet devices attached to the server. I have tried three different dsl-300s with the same result. I was hoping that someome might be able to assist with this problem as it is frustrating.

2000 server, Routing & remote access and dsl-300 modem

i have now installed .net rc1 and it seems to have fixed the problem. So from what i can gather there seems to be some kind of incompatability problem with 2000 server and dlink dsl-300's. Unless someone can prove me otherwise and tell me a fix for this problem !!!!!
