Will it be ok to install Windows 2000 Server on a Dell Dimension 2400? Where will I find the drivers I'll need once I install? I've looked on dell but can't find any help there. The computer must have 2000 Server installed for the heating/air conditioning system we use in the building - but that's all the computer's used for so I'd like to stick with something simple like the 2400. I've never installed any server software on my own - is it any different than normal windows os software?

Works fine on a 2400 I have here, it was a long time ago I built it though. It's likely all the drivers you need are on the Win2K CD as it's old hardware - if you use a PERC RAID controller in it though you'll probably need to get those from Dell's web-site (and copy to a floppy for an F6 install). I'd recommend you upgrade the BIOS, ESM and PERC firmware first to as at least for some servers the Win2K support relies on a certain minimum revision of those before the drivers will work.
