I want to add another domain to my current domain and what is the best way to do this? Do I need another PC to do this?

Are you looking to setup a child domain ? or a totally seperate domain ?

For example if you have a domain called ABC.com, a child domain would be child.ABC.com. A totally seperate domain will have nothing related to your domain, for example XYZ.com.

Either way you will need a seperate domain controller which means you will need a Server (PC).
