2000 Drivers with XP

Hi all,
I installed XP Pro onto my system and it picked up all my hardware even my printer.

Unfortunately I also have a Jetway USB modem and the jetway site only has Win2000 drivers available. I thought that XP would use win2000 drivers ok but it dials the number and I can hear the dial tone and tone dial but then it just hangs on a higher note.

Does anyone have a solution for this?
