I want to run a script on a few Windows 2000 Pro workstations to back up there entire system w/systemstate to there local tape drives using Windows 2000 built in back up. I also want this back up to be non-interactive/unattended. Any ideas?

Open a Command Prompt and type NTBACKUP /?

This will give you the switches for using a script backup.

You could try..

NTBACKUP BACKUP SYSTEMSTATE C:\ /M NORMAL /N "SYSTATE BACKUP" /V:YES /L:S /HC:ON

/M = media type
/N = tape name
/V = verify
/L = log (S = summary)
/HC = hardware compresion
