Hi there,
Is it possible to dual boot with 2 xp pros in the same machine? i am into pc audio so one would be my dedicated music partition, the other for general use.

Any tips? Can this even be done?!!!

thanks

I don't think there is any reason why you cannot install two windows xp operating systems. It would be just like dual booting with W2K and XP. Just make sure to use two seperate partions and make sure that the disk is basic and not dynamic. Also the file system can be an issue. Make sure that both partitions are ntfs or both are fat 32. both partitions have to have the same file system. If there is some problem with it I'm sure that the windows xp pro setup would let you know.

You would have to unhook your current HD and reinstall windows on to HD #2. Then make them both masters on separate channels. You might want to consider a PCI adapter card for the second HD as your CDROM and/or burner will slow down your HD's if they are on the same channel.
